Year 5 Chicago Results and Pizza Enthusiast's
For the 5th year anniversary we had to go back to the Chi to try 8 of these different pizza establishments! Chicago offers an impressive variety of pizzas beyond its world-famous deep-dish. You’ll find the equally beloved stuffed pizza, an even heartier cousin layered with extra cheese and sealed under a thin top crust before being smothered in sauce. Thin-crust tavern-style pizza is another local favorite—cut into small, square “party” pieces with a cracker-like crunch and a balance of toppings that make it perfect for sharing. Some pizzerias also serve pan pizza, which sits between deep-dish and thin-crust in thickness, featuring a crisp, buttery edge and chewy interior. From artisanal wood-fired spots crafting Neapolitan-style pies to classic neighborhood joints serving hearty slices, Chicago’s pizza scene celebrates diversity, creativity, and a deep love for dough, cheese, and sauce in every form. Below you can find our favorites based on Group Average:
