What is The Pizza Committee?
The Pizza Committee, was founded eight years ago by preschool friends Mike “The Godfather” McKay and Danny “The Don” Williams, is a spirited group of pizza enthusiasts dedicated to discovering the best slices across the country.
Each year, the committee travels to a new city, where members spend a day judging eight of the area’s top pizza spots to crown that city’s ultimate winner. The tradition is as much about friendship and fun as it is about pizza — complete with a rented party bus stocked with plenty of booze, laughter, and good vibes.
Every trip has its own unique theme, adding a playful twist to the reviews, and the number of attendees keeps growing as more friends join in on the adventure. At its heart, the Pizza Committee isn’t just about finding the perfect pie — it’s about great friends coming together, exploring new cities, and making lasting memories one slice at a time!
