Year 3 Results and Attendees
For Year 3 We headed to Indianapolis, the pizza scene is a dynamic mix of classic Midwest heartiness and bold, modern experimentation. While deep-dish and tavern-style pies hold a loyal following, Indy stands out for its willingness to blend regional traditions with inventive techniques — think wood-fired Neapolitan crusts, locally sourced ingredients, and creative flavor profiles that reflect the city’s growing culinary identity. Neighborhood staples coexist with trendy pizzerias in vibrant districts like Broad Ripple and Fountain Square, each offering their own take on what defines great pizza. What makes Indianapolis unique is its balance of comfort and craft — a city where pizza isn’t just food, but a celebration of community, creativity, and local flavor.
